The young, quirky musician, named "Most Admired French Singer", Zaz will be performing at METU Visnelik Grass Theatre on July 30th.
A smoky voice redolent of Edith Piaf, Zaz -or Isabelle Geffroy— was born in 1980 in France. She studied music theory, violin, and choir from age five, and had her first stage performance with blues band "Fifty Fingers". A street musician, Zaz was discovered performing on the streets of Paris. She came first in 2009's "Generation Reservoir" competition and rose to the top with her 2010 album "Zaz". Having gained popularity in Turkey with her song "Je Veux", Zaz's performance is highly anticipated.
