On countless invitations Cæcilie Norby (DK) and Lars Danielsson (SE) have recorded their first duo album! 

The release on August 28th 2015 (ACT Music & Vision) is followed by concerts all over Europe in the fall of 2015 and spring 2016.

The majority of tracks featured on the album are composed by the artists themselves, and as a tribute to love and life.

Both Cæcilie Norby and Lars Danielsson are highly reknown musicians who have made their mark on the international Jazz Scene for decades. Both have recorded with numerous of international jazz stars, with symphony orchestras, big bands and smaller groups - but never together in this unique duo constellation, which offers the perfect setting for this intimate but varied music to unfold.  

While raised in seperate countries - Denmark and Sweden - by incident Lars and Cæcilie happened to live similar music lives by being surrounded by classical music in the early childhood. Later both got fascinated by the clear message of a strong melody in pop and rock music and as well as the acustic and more complex jazz. These background references combined with a exquisite musicality and plane life experience serve a perfect platform from where Cæcilie and Lars invite the listener onboard into their hybrid musical universe. 

The music on this album is as complex as it is simple, and delivered with a melancholy, groove and humour that comes from the heart, and talks to the heart.
