Both as a pianist, composer and conductor, Horacio Lavandera, with his extraordinary combination of intellect and emotionality, is one of the outstanding musical personalities of our time. This 33-year-old artist owns a musical career of 15 years. He has made numerous appearances on international stages from Argentina to Asia and Europe, where he has performed with renowned orchestras in London, Madrid, Rome, and Madrid.

His extensive repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary music. For his interpretation of Ravel's piano concerto in G major, he was awarded the special prize of the Philharmonic Orchestra alla Scala in the final round. As the winner of numerous international competitions, along his career Horacio Lavandera has received invitations to perform with renowned orchestras all throughout America, Asia and Europe. But not only has Horacio Lavandera made a name for himself for his interpretation of classical composers, but also in the field of contemporary music. In his role as a pianist, he always strives to link the old to the new music. That is why he strives to work with contemporary composers who represent the music of his own time.
